House Remodel Phase IIPhotos below are part of Whole House Remodel.Phase 2 included extensive remodeling of the sunroom, kitchen and nursery area and a new three-car garage addition with nanny suite above. Portions of the home were over 80 years old and presented a number of challenges requiring numerous structural modifications and detailed leveling work. The home received all new windows, doors, roofing siding and gutters as well as new landscape and paving. The rear courtyard consisted of a 12 x 24 covered porch, cedar trellis and screen walls, custom made concrete pavers, sandstone walkways, new plantings and vinyl fencing. The front yard work included a new barn stonewall, new drive apron, new river stone retaining wall, new front stoop constructed of sandstone, and yard grading. Award Winning KitchenThe new kitchen included custom cabinets in two wood finishes, two types of granite counter tops, Wolf and Subzero commercial grade range, side by side refrigerator, wine cooler and beverage refrigerator, in cabinet lighting, glass shelving, laminate flooring. The dark paint in the kitchen required a four-coat process to obtain the full rich color. See photos below. Also in this phase of work a pet-grooming shower was constructed along with a Powder Room both utilizing natural limestone and marble tiles.
