Major Industrial Renovation 2005PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The phased renovation included the relocation of their Aurora Ohio and Orangeburg New York operations requiring major plumbing, heating and electrical rework of an existing 100,000 square foot empty warehouse facility. Sections of heavy industrial floor slab were cut and removed to make way for hundreds of lineal feet of new below slab plumbing piping. Concrete floors were replaced, followed by tens of thousands of square feet of new heavy duty steel stud/drywall partitions many built full height to the deck 24’ above.
The project required all new electrical
distribution, new lighting and the addition of Air Conditioning
units to many areas of the facility. All in all, we constructed over
10 different and unique production and work areas all with specific
requirements for each different department.
"This project is another example of Builders Diversified, Inc.’s ability to deliver complex projects on time, on budget and our ability to work together with our client, our contractors and the municipality to achieve shared goals."
