Builders Diversified Inc. was selected
for this important project by our clients due to our unique approach to
getting more space for their kitchen and innovative solution to working
with the existing roof lines and patio/deck.
Our client need the kitchen completely removed from its current location
in the main flow of traffic through the kitchen and dinette area to its
own more efficient space with eat-in and storage space carved out of the
former kitchen location. The addition of kitchen space was complicated
by the existing deck and large trees that the client wished to preserve
and by second floor roof lines and windows that would have been
complicated and obscured if a typical roof solution was selected.
Our design satisfied the clients need by moving the kitchen to it's own
roughly 10' x 14' addition, construction of a mud room and built-in
eating booth made excellent use of the former kitchen space and allowed
for more convenient flow of traffic through the area and better suited
the young family's lifestyle. Innovative design helped to preserve and
enhance the existing deck, left the large existing trees and back yard
undisturbed and provided for covered porch space which the client never
expected.
Once again Builders Diversified Inc. came through with a custom tailored
solution for our client's remodeling and space needs.
